Born and raised on Reunion Island, France, I now work as a freelance documentary author and directress based in Karlsruhe & Stuttgart, Germany.
As a masters graduate in film and media studies from the University Lyon 2 (France), Bauhaus University (Germany) and Utrecht University (Netherlands), I am familiar and concerned with subjects revolving around issues of representation in western cultures, arts and societies, with feminist, environmental and post-colonial studies.
I made my way to directing documentary and journalistic formats at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, which I graduated from in 2024 with my diploma film L’île jardin.
Diving into new subjects and crafting the best suitable stories are what I enjoy the most - a huge privilege and responsibility. I am fascinated by the intricate ways humans and non-humans interact with their environment and shape places. I love to find creative ways to tell about those relations, be it in form of portrait, report, essay, science film or documentary.
